Sometimes I sit in my car and feel glad I only have to know how to work a few buttons and levers and don’t have to know about all that stuff under the hood.
What the heck does that have to do with Ryan's problem?! Plus, I've seen you drive and one of the levers you don’t know how to work is the brake pedal.
I was about to relate that analogy to the Flex framework’s attempt to keep you from needing to know about some of the stuff under the Flash Player’s hood—in this case, the flash.system.ApplicationDomain class.
Why couldn't you just have said, "Ryan, it’s time for you to learn about ApplicationDomains"
?
