Alex (a.k.a Flick) has been developing frameworks and components in ActionScript for Macromedia/Adobe since Flash MX 2004. He's been involved in lots of the dirty details of the framework like memory usage, performance, security, modules, versioning and item renderers.
Alex is old enough that his first post-college job involved writing code for the Apple II, which is old, but not as old as Gordon. He moved on to the PC AT when it came out and was instrumental in the early days of pen computing as the lead developer of the Wang Freestyle.
Alex was married in 2006 and has a son. When he's not writing code or being a proud dad, he’ll swing at a golf ball or go swing or ballroom dancing.
